Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services made available on or through the platform operated by ALPHAQUEEN TECHNOLEV PRIVATE LIMITED (the “Company”), doing business under the brand name “MIRANI”. The Company is the legal entity providing the services described herein. The platform includes the website, mobile applications, and all related tools, services, and communication channels (collectively referred to as the “Platform” or “Services”).

These Terms also include any additional guidelines, policies, or supplemental terms issued by the Company from time to time (“Supplemental Terms”). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Supplemental Terms, the Supplemental Terms shall prevail with respect to the applicable services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you, whether acting in your personal capacity or on behalf of an entity (“User”, “you”, or “your”), and the Company. By accessing or using the Services, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity and authority to enter into this agreement and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.


SERVICES

The Services include the provision of a digital marketplace that enables Users to connect with independent third-party service providers (“Service Professionals”) who offer various home-help services.

The Company acts solely as an intermediary platform facilitating:

(i) connections between Users and Service Professionals, and
(ii) the collection and transfer of payments on behalf of such Service Professionals.

The services offered by Service Professionals may include, but are not limited to:

  • General cleaning of residential premises, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitation of kitchens and bathrooms;
  • Cooking services, including meal preparation, kitchen organization, and maintenance of cleanliness during and after cooking;
  • Laundry and folding services, including washing, drying, ironing (if applicable), and organizing clothes;
  • Japa services (newborn and mother care), including assistance with baby care, postnatal support, and hygiene maintenance;
  • Full-time and part-time MERANI services for routine household assistance;
  • Any additional services as may be listed on the Platform from time to time.

The Company does not provide these services directly. Service Professionals operate independently and are solely responsible for the quality, execution, and delivery of the services. The Company does not employ, control, or supervise Service Professionals, and no employer-employee, agency, or partnership relationship exists between the Company and Service Professionals.

The Platform operates as an intermediary under applicable laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.


ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

To access and use the Services, you must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into legally binding contracts under applicable law. Individuals between the ages of 14 and 18 may use the Services only under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration, including your name, contact details, and address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including OTPs, and for all activities conducted through your account.

The Company reserves the right to verify the information provided and to suspend or terminate accounts where information is found to be false, misleading, or incomplete.


USER CONDUCT AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Users are expected to interact with Service Professionals in a respectful, professional, and lawful manner.

You agree to:

  • Provide a safe, clean, and appropriate working environment;
  • Clearly communicate service requirements and expectations;
  • Treat Service Professionals with dignity, fairness, and respect;
  • Compensate fairly for any additional work requested beyond the agreed scope.

You shall not engage in any form of harassment, abuse, discrimination, or unlawful behaviour. The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform in case of any violation of these standards.


OFFERS AND DISCOUNTS

The Company may, at its sole discretion, introduce promotional offers, discounts, or trial services (“Offers”) from time to time, subject to specific terms communicated separately.

Unless otherwise stated, Offers:

  • May be availed only once per premises;
  • Cannot be combined with other Offers;
  • May have limited features during trial periods.

The Company reserves the right to modify, withdraw, or discontinue any Offer at any time without prior notice. Users may be contacted regarding Offers via calls, SMS, email, or push notifications.


BOOKINGS

Users may request services through the Platform by selecting available time slots and providing required details.

A booking shall be considered confirmed only upon successful payment and confirmation by the Platform. The Company will make reasonable efforts to match Users with available Service Professionals; however, availability is not guaranteed.

Users may cancel or reschedule bookings subject to applicable policies and timelines. Cancellation charges may apply depending on the timing of the cancellation.

In cases where the User is unavailable, provides incorrect details, or denies access to the Service Professional, the booking may be treated as a no-show, and applicable charges may be levied.


PRICING, FEES, AND PAYMENT TERMS

Users agree to pay all applicable charges, including service fees, platform fees, convenience charges, and applicable taxes such as GST, as displayed at the time of booking.

Payments may be made through authorized payment methods, including UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, or digital wallets. The Company may act as a limited collection agent on behalf of Service Professionals.

In the event of payment failure, bookings will not be confirmed. The Company shall not be responsible for issues arising from third-party payment processors.

All charges are subject to change at the Company's discretion, but confirmed bookings shall not be affected by such changes.


VERIFICATION AND USER RESPONSIBILITY

The Company may conduct basic verification checks of Service Professionals; however, such checks are limited in scope. Users are advised to exercise their own judgment and due diligence before allowing any Service Professional into their premises.


USER CONTENT

Users may submit reviews, feedback, or other content through the Platform (“User Content”).

By submitting User Content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content for operational and promotional purposes.

The Company reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.


CONSENT TO USE DATA

By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your personal data for service delivery, communication, analytics, and improvement purposes.

The Company may share such data with third-party service providers or authorities where required by law.


NON-CIRCUMVENTION

Users agree not to bypass the Platform to directly engage Service Professionals introduced through the Platform.

This restriction applies during the period of usage and for up to 12 months following the last booking. Violation may result in penalties, recovery of fees, or suspension of the account.


THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Platform may include links or access to third-party services. The Company is not responsible for the content, policies, or actions of such third parties. Use of third-party services is at the User's own risk.


INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All intellectual property rights related to the Platform and Services are owned by or licensed to the Company.

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.


TERM AND TERMINATION

These Terms shall remain in effect until terminated by either party.

The Company may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at its discretion, including in cases of violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

Users remain liable for any outstanding payments or obligations incurred prior to termination.


DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Services are provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind.

The Company does not guarantee the quality, reliability, or suitability of services provided by Service Professionals and shall not be liable for any acts, omissions, damages, or losses arising from their services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability shall not exceed the service fee paid for the specific booking in dispute.


INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, and its representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.


GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Noida, India.


MISCELLANEOUS

The Company reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
